Other than becoming a sports analyst, one of my other career ideas, that I actually have a high probability of becoming, is a teacher. I'm pretty sure it's in my genes, because my mom is a teacher and so were my grandparents. Dealing with the students may be tough or stressful, but overall it would be an amusing experience. My first choice would be teaching a math class that can have many different ages (freshmen, sophomores... etc.), like Algebra 2. Having that variety of age would really be an enjoyable ride. Having a good student-to-teacher relationship, I guarantee it, would give a kick out of me everyday. I would choose a math class because I have a passion for the subject and because I can make the class intriguing and entertaining for the students, which the students would really appreciate. Knowing that students really enjoy your class and personality will really make me fell good about myself, and that is what will motivate me to teach the class each time. The potential that the students have would really fascinate me and is also a type of motivation I would use. This career could last me until I retire, and I wouldn't have a problem if that happened. Not to mention, you get the summers off!

Great blog Ryan! Sounds great! Your the type of guy who is very helping and nice so teaching would be perfect for you! Although i know your into the big bucks, and teaching isnt the highest paying job (no knock to Mr. Pinza)so maybe if your're really into math like you said then engineering could be also another major choice. But in the end, choose what you love to do.
ReplyDeleteMVP! I truly believe that you'd be a fantastic teacher (cough or a super star basketball player, or anything to do with sports)! You are an incredibly understanding guy, who everyone loves, including myself!:D I genuinely believe that if you pursue this career that all your students will love you, and you will bond with many:)! I suggest looking into it more to provide further motivation!
ReplyDeleteRyan let's be baseball analysts for the Giants together. You are a stud and will be great in any profession you choose. Like Jeff said you are an MVP!!! Good luck out their bro
ReplyDeleteRyan, I think you would be a great teacher! Your kindness towards everyone proves that you will be the same goodhearted guy towards your students. I can imagine your class: even with the toughest students you would never lose your patience or give up, you would want the best for all of them. And if you're really enthusiastic about your job you could finally make math somewhat enjoyable:)
